TxDOT Enhances Speed Limit Sign Outside Wall

The Texas Department of Transportation has increased visibility for speed limit signs in an area of U.S. Highway 87 near Wall.

The speed limit signs have been updated with a red border around the sign to increase visibility and to alert drivers of the lower speed limit.

Earlier this year, TxDOT lowered the speed limit for the area near Wall, according to Tom Green County Precinct 2 Commissioner Chad Decker, who represents the tiny community near San Angelo.
