San Angelo Police Detain Alleged Shooter in Incident

The San Angelo Police Department has detained a man and treated another for gunshot wounds following an incident at Jomar and Childress this afternoon.

Concho Valley Homepage reported a heavy police presence in the area and oberserved one man being handcuffed while rescue workers were doing chest compressions on the victim.

The SAPD said that the investigation is ongoing and that there was no threat to the general public.
